ATC is a company that offers a diabetes disease management program concentrating on the annual screening of chronic complications of diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular risk factors. We deliver this service, via a telecommunication network, to multiple centers located in rural towns in Puerto Rico from our main center in San Juan.

The tele-diabetes program utilizes the first proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) for disease management emphasizing in diabetes control and screening for eye, kidney, foot, heart, blood pressure, lipid and weight problems in the population of patients with diabetes and patients at high risk of developing diabetes. This EMR was designed for a telemedicine network application and is the first of its kind in the field of tele-diabetes.

Our "Patient Education Development Center", a division of ATC, will be offering interactive educational seminars via a videoconferencing network system to our centers and other educational institutions such as universities and hospitals of the island.
